went out with my mum to tampiness today. with the purpose of celebrating mother's day. but end up i'm always the one spending her money everytime i go out with her. i actually planned to have dinner at secret recipe. but then decided not to eat there not because the aircon there is too strong and we were shivering. but because the service there really sucks. when you wait at the entrance you had to wait for a few minutes before someone actually notices you. and they can't even give you the seat that you request for. so my mum and i went to our seats and looked at the menu. then we noticed they had quite a number of staff but most of them were not doing anything. then we waited again for people to come and take our order. guess what, nobody came. since they had such lousy service, we went to swensens to eat instead. the service is totally opposite from secret recipe. the minute we reach swensens, a sweet looking girl with A SMILE (secret recipe no smile) greeted us and brought us to our seats. 2 menus were already placed on the table waiting for us. the second we took our seats, they already serve us water (super efficent right). and we happily ordered our food and the food came quite fast also. the guys serving the food were quite zai. walking around with a trayful of food and still can walk pretty fast. even my mum who was never generous with tips left them her change.
and i left swensens a happy girl (=
